We picked up our first saplings from Timbuk Farms on Saturday, March 20th. Timbuk Farms was about an hour drive from our location here in Ontario, Ohio so I had my bestest pal Cisco (our Weimaraner) join me on the trip, she had fun getting out of the house. Our initial tree sapling order was for Canaan firs. We will be adding some additional species over the next several years as we grow the farm out. I very much enjoyed seeing the rows of firs at Timbuk Farms, it always reinvigorates me to see the trees and smell the air on a tree farm like this.
